Many distribution boards in Swiss properties date from the era before residual current devices: fuses, no spare capacity for charging points and PV systems, circuits without a circuit diagram. We replace such installations without the residents having to move out.
We carry out the replacement in stages, riser by riser or floor by floor, and schedule every interruption in advance. Where an interruption is not acceptable, for example for medical equipment or servers, we set up a temporary installation.
The tenant notice comes from us, as a template to send under your name: the process, the window for each stage and the number residents can call with questions. This leaves appointment coordination with our project management, not with your property management team.
For property managers and owners, we also take on the ongoing electrical maintenance of their properties: repairs to sub-distribution boards, additional power connections, lighting in common areas, alterations after a change of tenant, reinstatement after water damage. These jobs go to the same contact person who knows the property from the condition survey.
For periodic inspections, we check the installation at the inspection interval set by the distribution system operator for the property, record defects in the inspection report and remedy them under the same contract. After every new installation and every modification, you receive the safety certificate required by law (NIV).

Frequently asked questions
Can you replace a main distribution board in an occupied building?
Yes, in stages, with interruptions announced in advance for each riser or floor. We provide the tenant notice.
Do I need a safety certificate after the installation?
Yes. The Low-Voltage Installation Ordinance (NIV) requires a safety certificate for new installations and modifications. You receive it from us after acceptance.
