E-mobility & photovoltaics
Charging infrastructure and photovoltaics hinge on the same question: how much can the main incoming supply deliver? That is why the site visit comes first – incoming supply, fusing, spare capacity in the main distribution board, cable route in the underground car park, roof area and orientation.
In the underground car park, we build the basic infrastructure along the parking spaces and add the charging points to it. Dynamic load management distributes the available power across the charging points in use, instead of each wallbox permanently reserving its connected load. Per-user billing is handled via the meter in the charging station.

On the roof, we install the mounting system, PV modules and inverters, route the DC strings with surge protection and equipotential bonding to the plant room and connect the system to the distribution board. We submit the grid connection application to the distribution system operator before the modules go on the roof.
At commissioning, we configure the load management and inverters, test the system and hand over the commissioning report and the safety certificate under the NIV. From then on, monitoring shows generation, self-consumption and grid feed-in by day, month and year.

Frequently asked questions
Is the incoming supply sufficient for charging stations in our underground car park?
Usually, yes – with load management that distributes the available power across the charging points. The site survey shows whether the main incoming supply needs to be upgraded.
Is solar PV with battery storage worthwhile?
Yes, if an energy management system controls generation, storage and loads: solar power flows first to the loads currently running and into storage, then into the grid. We install and connect the systems.
